Mankind launches drug for pregnancy-related complications

MUMBAI: Mankind Pharma launched a dydrogesterone-containing drug, for treatment of infertility and pregnancy-related complications. Roughly every fourth woman suffers from pregnancy-related issues.

Mankind group chairman and founder, RC Juneja said the launch of generic version of Abbott's Duphaston is an important milestone, as its manufacturing process is complex, and its development involved around nine years.
